Carolyn Douglas is an Emmy award-winning broadcast news journalist and communications strategist with more than two decades of experience in broadcast news, media relations, marketing, promotions, public speaking and coaching. Through Carolyn Douglas Communications, she is dedicated to helping people and organizations share their stories with their world and grow their communities through strategic messaging, powerful media and influencer relationships, expert coaching, and effective content production. As a fourth generation Washingtonian and a former anchor and reporter for KING TV in Seattle, KREM TV in Spokane, and KNDU TV in the Tri Cities, Carolyn has lived, worked and vacationed in every corner of the Northwest region, as her family has for generations. She is also a board member for the Alliance for International Women’s Rights (www.aiwr.org), communications advisor to the City of Edmonds, affiliate board member for the Edward R. Murrow College of Communications at Washington State University, and a school commissioner for Holy Rosary Edmonds School.
